It depends on the flowers and your bouquet... If you go dark: like reds or deep fushias or purples, then go for turquoise. If you go lights: like pinks, whites, or mostly greens, then go for a subtle periwinkle or a blue that is almost like lilac... Don't blend in with or match your flowers... complement them... otherwise, you'll blend in with the garden... Congratulations!!!

I attended a wedding last December that used a "Robins Egg Blue" that looked great. It was a 4 PM wedding and then the bride switched to a dress of the same shade for the reception. Most everyone looks good in that color.

For a tropical wedding, I would say a light Caribbean Teal or a light sky blue. Definitely avoid navy or dark blues.
