How is Italy reaching the finals unpredictable. They are one of the top five world teams in football. They reach the finals every 12 years (thats a big time fact). And most likly the most pop team other than Braliz.

If it's predictable then the Casinos and Bookies go broke cause everyone will be betting on the heavily favorites . Same thing in 2002 when France and Argentina were a "darling" , do you remember what happened to them ? They both didn't make it into 2nd round . Who predicted Brazil, Turkey, Germany, Korea to get in Semifinals in 2002 ?

The game is unpredictable, unlike basketball and american football, in futbol any country...any team can win.
In basketball and american football, you can look at the score and predict who can win. With soccer, its a totally different story. The weakest team can score off of an error. That's what is so great about this game.

the game is definitely unpredictable...but face it, italy plays an incredibly defensive game...and germany just didnt play that wonderfully. based on the game, i wasnt surprised that italy won.
