Question for you - If you had been told in the mid-1800's that there would soon be an invention that would change the face of the world in a positive way and move society forward hundreds of years, but would take five million lives by 2006, would you say let;s go ahead, or want to put a stop to it?
We are talking about the automobile.

I would go hiking in every single wild life spot I could find! I'd use up my entire hard drive taking pictures of the beauty.
... and then cower under the blankets waiting for the world to end.

There is no problem that's impossible. I'm sure that all the great minds of the world would be working on it. It could be the catalyst for a real interdependent transformation of the world. We'll sink or swim TOGETHER. I also would pray A LOT!!!!

I am already reacting to it. The world is unstable... more accurately, humanity is unstable. We are in process of killing ourselves.
It really begs a question... can mankind ever get along. I don't think so. Even in a prosperous democracy like ours, we have criminals...lots of them in the system. Why?
I am already facing the fact that our situation is imminent. Am I sticking my head in the sand about it? No. I am offering as much good will as possible and living each day as productively as possible.

I'd exhaust every possible action, resource, and body in an effort to stop such a disaster. If there was no way of stopping it then I'd try to pull everyone together to enjoy the last hours-minutes we have left in this lifetime because it could possibly be our last. There would be no need to steal, kill, or even hate in those final moments, so hopefully peace would finally occur.

For every action there is a reaction. When a problem arises there is always a solution to counter it. For every negative situation there is a positive side to it, look for the positive side of the situation and enjoy what you have to the fullest, by then there will be a solution to the problem and life will resume its course adapting to the situation encountered.

That's hard. I wouldn't know because I've never been in that situation. But if I am I would first scream my head off just to get all the frightning stuff out of my head. Then I would sit and think....... until i got a solution that's right think............ I'm not a Super hero. If it's something that i couldn't change, then, well let it be.

You're kidding, right? Do you read the news? North Korea has been shooting off bombs and missiles for the past few days and NORAD is on elevated alert; if they actually "go the distance" we could be looking at a nuclear war in a few days!

provided the problem was something i had absolutley no control over, and was something that could destroy the world. i would freak out for a bit then i would do as many things that i enjoy that i could fit into the time left, no sense in dwelling on things that cannot be changed.
