I think that Italy deserved the win. even though Germany played better the whole game. the goal by Italy was a good clean powerful goal. then the second goal was the same. Germany did the only thing you could expect with a minute left down by one they went on the attack and ended up losing the gamble. Italy deserved the win but I wish Germany would have held on!

Italy's attacks are a little cleaner and more organized, they played a bit better than Germany too. I'm saying this not because I'm supporting Italy, but I'm a Germany fan. Nonetheless, it's a great game, both can be proud of themselves.

fuckk germany germans are pussiess they got lucky to have the chance to be near the italian team there performance was **** they didnt even come close it was almost 4 to 0 italy had 2 goals that just barely missed and germany didnt have n e good shots italy made fools out of germany u should be embaressed and i suggest you dont tell people your a fan of germany bcuz theyll just laugh at you italy will win the world cup

I think so. They just about edged it. Both defenses were quite good and both teams went for the win even in extra time. One however feels that in the midfield, Ballack and co couldn't quite dominate the Italians and I think that was the main difference between the teams.
Italy certainly did not want to go to penalties as well. Who can beat the Germans at penalties?!

It was a sad end to a nerve-wracking game! However, I do feel the Italians played better all the way through, and they had those two unlucky shots that barely bounced off the goal. They had a really right defense that Germany had to struggle to get through, and on all fronts, it hurt to watch the game because my poor Germans were getting half-slaughtered :(. They did manage to hold on through for almost 2 hours, though, so I feel like the last two goals could have been prevented (especially the second one). It hurts to know that we were SO CLOSE to getting through to penalties but BAM those last two minutes killed me.

They were exhausted after playing against Argentina while Italy had an easy match with Ukraine. Germany should've won.

The germans would fall and get up at once, not like Italians..also the way they were wayyy too agressive, am not makin up excuses but it was obvious from the last 2 minutes goals right after del pierro came down.

italy deserved it big time. germany is boring to watch and played with no confidence towards the end...plus, italians are just sexier ;)
