I use Target brand formula and I LOVE it!! It's $12 cheaper per can, and I talked to my sons Dr. before I gave it to him. All formula is regulated by the FDA, and no matter what brand it is it has to meet the set standards. Target has a wide variety (soy, milk-based, powder, liquid...). I suggest looking into it and comparing. I think it's worth it, and my son is perfectly healthy. Good luck!!

P.S. I have not had any clumping issues either

I first used Enfamil per my baby's Dr. She had a bad reaction to that so she suggested Enfamil Nutrimagen, agian she reacted badly to that.
I decided to try Safeway Select (Vons Store Brand) and she has never reacted badly to that. I use the Soy formula version, but there are quite a few varietys to choose from.

My ped and many other sources I researched (baby411.com, babyzone.com...ect) agreed there is little difference between the store brands and the name brands except price... I buy my formula at Sam's Club I get a huge 52oz can for around $20us they also have the bigger cans of Similac and Enfamil for about $10 more than the biggest can you can buy in the regular store... it has made it definitely worth the membership fee

Give it a try. Most babies don't even know the difference. Some, on the other hand, do digest it differently. If your baby is one of the many who don't mind it, then your wallet will thank you!

I did. It was very clumpy. If your baby is used to smooth textured formula he/she may not agree w/ the change.

we used the wal mart brand, parents choice. ---worked like a charm, and didnt foam up as much as the more expensive stuff during mixing. ---foam is bad ...makes for gassy, fussy babies! best of luck...
