I am so busy with my 5 kids (all under 8 years old!) and I hate exercising and dieting, life's too short! So I thought the only option for getting rid of my ugly cellulite was to book in with a set of weekly medical roller treatments. Job done.

However, they cost me a monstrous $3000 and, you guessed it, did absolutely nothing. I couldn't believe it. It left me thoroughly depressed.

I saw this info on the web and I gave it a go, what did I have to lose now! And, my god this is genius. Quick and easy. I feel so wonderful in my new, smooth, renewed figure! I am a yummy mummy now!

Detoxing is great, but if you don't plan to go that far, the recommendations are usually...

Cranberry and cranberry juice which helps move toxins/lymph
Water for the same reasons
Being wary of dairy products, as some science believes that the dairy cells are actually too large to fit through the tiny lymph ducts, causing a 'net-like' effect and clumping them together.
Rebounding, which is exercise using a special type of trampoline designed to push fluids through your lymph using opposing forces of gravity.
Dry brushing, in which you gently brush over the skin in certain directions which move the tiny lymph ducts towards the top of your skin, towards organs like the liver/kidneys that can rid it of toxens.
I would imagine trying to get up every once in a while if you sit down for your job, could probably also increase circulation.

The lymph is sort of like the garbage collector of the body - it scoops up used up hormones, toxins, dead cells, etc. If your lymph is rather sort of clogged, that is what tends to produce the worst cellulite. Losing weight and building muscle certainly contribute to lessening the LOOK of cellulite, but the diet/lymph/rebounding items have been reported to actually reduce cellulite overall.

There are also some products out there that contain certain seaweeds known to sort of pull fluids through your lymph and increase that kind of circulation, that are in some OTC cellulite lotions and products. (At least, I imagine that's why it is reported to work, because of the drawing out of fluid.) Also, essential oils such as lemongrass, cypress, juniper and the lemon/orange families have been reported to make a difference when used properly in baths.

I saw great success when I was following these tips. And especially with rebounding, I saw results fast - like a 50% visible reduction in a few days. However, there is one problem - as soon as you stop, especially rebounding, it seems to come back in days. If you can get into a good routine though, that bikini can be in your future too. :P

Best Wishes.

Brushing Up
Make body brushing a part of your daily routine. Scrubbing out dirt and grime is the least of its advantages. Body brushing tones and stimulates skin, helping with the natural drainage of the lymph glands. It also helps combat cellulite. When brushing, work towards the heart, up from your legs and thighs, and down from your neck. Oh, and remember, skin should be dry while body-brushing, so make sure you have a soft brush - you don't want abrasions that are hard to explain!

Good luck babe xx
