I think it is horse racing, which really is only a sport for the horse.

Major League Baseball has 81 home games X that by 30 teams X that by an average attendance (guesstimate) of 30,000 = 72.9 million.

That does not count preseason, post season, minor league, college, high school, little league and a ton of other leagues......
