please name of the 70's/ 80's horror movie kids on a bus tht rides through gas tht when they touch u you die

when i was young i can remember the movie but not the name It was about a group of kids on a school bus tht rode through a cloud of gases( fumes) tht if they touched you with their black fingernails you die please help my friend is driving me crazy it was a color movie not black & white

That movie's called "The Children" I'm pretty sure. My dad had it. Yeah, the kids' nails are black or purple and they run to hug people and then the person dies. Not good. Used to really scare me though!

I think it is on the list of Zombie moves at a Zombie fan sight or two. Try looking them up and asking there!
