Does it really matter?
There are only two political parties in this country, I know there are really more than two, but in reality the only two that matter are Republican and Democrat. It's a sad fact, I know, and I don't like it anymore than you do, but they have all the power and sway.
That's why I just don't care anymore. Politicans are corrupt swindlers who are working for themselves and not the American people. I don't care what they say - they will say anything for more money and more power and influence - they will say anything to get you to vote for them.
I want my vote to count and it is unfortunate that it doesn't and that is why I don't vote - it really just doesn't matter. You show me one honest politician that will work for the good of this country and it's people and I will vote for that person and encourage everyone I know to do the same - but I am not going near a ballot box until this candidate has a real shot at winning instead of a snowball's chance in hell.
