why do people judge others by the way they look.just asking cause ive seen people do that.they judge you by the way you look like,before they know you.

thats life if the first thing somone saw was ur heart then they would judge u bye that but thats not the way it worked out(unless you meet them on ythe internet)

We judge outward appearances because we are intelligent and curious, and until we know more we don't have anything else to go on. There is nothing unnatural about drawing a hypothesis about a person based upon their looks, but in most cases (if we don't get a strong feeling to get away from the person) we should be willing to learn more about them in order to prove or disprove our theory on them. A general lack of love and respect is our real problem. If we had these, we would see the good and bad together- both of which are present in everybody we run into- but we would see the good with admiration, and the bad with humor and hope. People are fun. No way around it.

Hello! That's just our nature....our instant thought is to be negative and I tell you what, when you become a Christian, you REALLY realize how negative you used to be because when you try to be positive, it's so hard, but you can do it. For example: When I met my new neighbor, she was a big big girl and she had kind of a strange lifestyle. Well, the instinctive me wanted to say, "Oh, you're weird and I don't like you," but the Christian me said, "Hey, you know, you should get to know her and see what she's like. She's actually really nice." I might not have agreed with her lifestyle, but I like her as a person because God made her and she has lots of good qualities. God says we should never judge people (He's the only one who should judge)...we just never know about people, what they might be dealing with, etc. So, we can ask God to help us not be judgmental towards people when we see new people or meet new people...
Let me clarify, though, that government should judge people who go against God's law and moral principles, like murder, rape, etc...

Just think of the consequences to judging people wrongly. That's why teenagers commit suicide or are depressed because other teens judge them by saying they're not good looking enough or don't have enough money. If we loved each other more instead of judging each other, the world would be a happier place.

Just make sure you don't do that yourself. Forgive people who do this. Don't worry about other people judging. Just let go of that concern. To learn how to not care if others judge you try doing yoga. take a class in it.

most of u people talk to people on the internet right? so sometimes u dont see their pic right? so then u r judging their personality right? yes and im always picked on cause i have one big front tooth just cause i havent lost all my baby teeth et and i hate those people who judge a book by its cover instead of they pages!

Little Kids are great...they're not programmed with years of experiences and judgments. We bring all the baggage with us through life and our sight is very important. If we were all blind then we would have different biases.

Because we are shallow creatures. But some people outgrow this or learn to fight the urge to do it.

whether you realize it or not, u probably do it too... we all do. Im sure we dont mean anything by it but at times we all do....... Its the first thing you notice about someone and it makes you decide whether you will talk to them or not.....
