This is for my fellow portuguese, they played well but did not win, no matter what everyone says they represented well what do you think...They owned the match but did not capitalize... Ronaldo made them look like their standing still with his skill, let people talk their shiet, we have nothing to be sad about...

Viva Portugal! I'm proud to be a Portuguese! It's a shame that France & Portugal can't beat each other without controversy from either media or public or 'bad' ref calls (ie. real goals, not quetionable as in Euro or via penalty kick now), but that's what these games are about. There can only be one, and it didn't happen this year. Plus most team members don't play for their countries in the regular season, so I'm proud that they have chosen to represent their heritage country and do well. The past does not predict the future! Good job! The flags will still fly in Ontario for Portugal!

See the statistics. More ball possession, strikes on goal, passes, corners etc etc. We just had one moment of bad luck.
Carvalho pushed the ball away and fell, and while falling he had the bad luck of hitting the french leg. He couldn't have avoided it.
OTOH I saw a french player keeping a portuguese player from jumping near th efrench goal and a french hand on the ball on another occasion, defending near their goal. So it's questionable if the ref was fair.
I am proud! We are among the world's top 4! We beat the shiit out of England and Holland, Mexico and Iran. We didn't play worse than France - no way! I AM proud! GO PORTUGAAAAAL!

What a bunch of blathering nincompoops. Portugal were bad and so were france but chance favoured the garlic lads. Strange, only two games stood out for me in whole tourney and they were in round robin section and featured teams knocked out early. Italy has played 1.5 great games. France .5 of a game. Every other game between.0000001 and.0000005
Beautiful game be damned, it is in danger of being ridiculed more than ever.

Portugal makes a mockery of the wonderful sport soccer. They should awrd kicks to the other team for taking dives. If you don't think Portugal took dives. Your crazy. I'm from Portugal. AND I am not studpid. They should ban them all.

Played well? If falling over every 2 minutes as if they'd been shot and looking to the ref for a free kick/penalty is playing well, then you are right!

portugal did an outstanding job throughout the whole world cup. they have nothing to be ashamed of. they should be proud. they were amazing!!! Ronaldo is a great player. he is only 21 and plays soccer like a veteran!! way to go.

Portugal did well to get to the semi-finals. I thought they were weaker than England, so BRAVO for repeating the same as the1966 finish. Such a small country with ample heart and talent.

YES IM VERY PROUD OF PORTUGAL! but im not portuguese in any way xD i just love them! they played very well and had all the chances in the world to score and it was just luck that made france win! omg it was so closeeeee!! PORTUGAL ALL THE WAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!

agree 100% i am very proud
we played well and this time luck was against us, this happens. our future is bright were losing FIFO but coresma from fc Porto will be there for us, i think hes even better .
i can say that the better team lost the game here but that's the way it goes sometimes
