I still think R. Kelly is a talented artist even though he is in the situation that he is in. I don't think it's right for him to have done the things that have come out in the media but, he is not the first artist or person to have had sex with a minor. That doesn't make it anymore right but I do think that in addition to being put on trial in a court room his also been put on trial in the media as well. I still like his music, the man is very musically talented and creative, a fact that NO ONE can deny.

Yeah, I'm still down for some R. Kelly. Despite his problems, he's made some timeless classics and I'll always respect him for that. With the exception of him, Mary J. Blige, Anthony Hamilton, John Legend and a few others, there's no one I'm feeling in R&B, right now, because it's become kid-oriented (and before you mention Usher, I never liked him). R&B used to be "grown folks" music, but too many Chris Browns and Ciaras have done away with it.

i have never really liked r kelly or any other rap music star. i just dont get or care for rap.

I remember seeing him and public announcment years ago now all you see is him in court. Not a smart carrer move, but if you think about it he has been warning us in his music for a long time!

Yes. I bet his latest CD sucks, overall but he still has that ability to make good music REGARDLESS of what he does in his own time.
