Other than giving VH1 something to talk about what does Paris Hilton do?

Actually Paris Hilton is beneficial...she is the exact philosophical, moral and intellectual opposite of what anyone should be. She is the measure by which we should all strive to be superior to, and the measure by which we should be disgraced if ending up on her level. Without her...we may all have eventually stooped to her level of idiocy without even knowing it.

Socially I think that Paris Hilton is a poor example of how to be...economically she's done great as far as promoting the Hilton hotel chain...psychologically I think she's a detriment to young women(and even some older ones) because of her speech, her attitude, and her complete lack of responsibility.
But nonetheless she is an other human being that is wanting to belong and be recognized...so I guess to each their own.

She created that great fashion craze of carrying the taco bell dog in a tiny purse. It's funny when ever we walk our dog we just carry around a plastic bag to pick up her doo doo. This is way more fashionable! LOL! I guess her parents think she's great.
But I really wouldn't want to see the size bag it would take to carry my Chocolate lab around in. Geeze that would be nuts.

give the magazines something to talk about. promotions for hilton chain of hotels. simple life for people to watch. at least now she's trying to sing...

nothing, she's useless! I mean in our TVs, radios or in the internet, she doesn't bring any artistic pleasure to anybody! The only people pleased by her are excited, dribbling males who are completely tasteless.

She seems to keep people amused... in one way or another! Personally I don't care for her, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion I suppose. :/
