Everything you eat goes through your breast milk. So yes, it could get to the baby. That is why you can't take medicine and things like that when breastfeeding because everything you drink or eat will go to the baby.

pretty much any food you eat will have at least portions of it that are secreted through your milk. if you know you ate something that had gone bad, i would pump and dump for the next 12 hours or so and give your baby formula or stored breast milk. with a baby's delicate stomach, you don't want to risk passing on e.coli or something like that.

I also trust the 0.33 midwife. and because that the final practitioner reported, save doing what you're doing. My toddler woman may in ordinary words nurse about 7 minutes on the most. and that i continuously apprehensive she wasn't getting adequate because the LC reported she ought to eat atleast 20 minutes...I not in any respect stricken switching breasts because i changed into apprehensive that if I interrupted her feeding she does not eat anymore...anyhow now shes a 21lb 5 month previous! so she obviousely changed into getting adequate lol i imagine some toddler's are merely VERY effecient at getting the milk out...

It may get to your baby but probably will not affect him.

I would only "pump and dump" in an extreme case, since it can cause more harm than good.

You could try contacting your local La Leche League Leader for information specific to your needs.

YES, it's exactly the same when you get really mad, that fury will go to your breast milk and make it bad consecuently irritating your baby, making the baby have really bad stomach aches, so try not eating bad stuff, eat healthy and your baby will be healthy...

Your body is amazing... it will filter out anything toxic before reaching the milk. Unless it is a large amount of toxins...ie drugs etc... your milk will always be good.

if it had bacteria in it? no

the nutrients still will go into your breastmilk but beyond that the food will not effect your baby (although it can cause digestive upset in you)

your immune system would be able to handle anything that you ingested and defeat it prior to reaching your glands. although rare, most cases it shouldn't make a difference.
