We are moderate gamblers and was curious how much most other moderate gamblers spent per day in Vegas. We both like to play slots and roulette....

It depends on if I'm winning or losing. :)
I usually take about $1,000 for a 3-4 day trip and play dollar slots and 3-card poker. I figure I wager about $1,000 a day being up and down across the 3-4 days and usually come home with a little bit of that money left.
BTW, the according to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, the average Vegas visitor budgeted around $640 per trip for gambling and the average trip was about 3.5 nights so that means a little under $200 a day.

I budget about $100 per day of my money.
I actually just went to Vegas with someone who had an interesting idea. She put money in envelopes for each day she was out there, and she forced herself not to spend more than that amount each day.

$0, gambling is a boring waste of money. I'd rather buy shoes.
