as a matter a fact yes they can be modded. Go to craigslist.com and type in mod xbox in the search link you see people who do that stuff.

Already there are a lot of different ways of 'modding' the 360. You can take the hard drive apart and program it to save movie files on direct from the PC. You can even acsses the whole internet with a program. Its only just arrived and people have a long time to get to grips with the 360's power.

I have seen video (could be fake) showing a guy that successfully modded an XBOX 360 to play burned copies of 360 games. It showed him loading a burned copy of PGR on his 360.

Idk. because when you modified the xbox for all games in the drive then it became different. 360......maybe, but I bet it would be a lot more expensive.
