Initial news reports said his body was found and his fishing companion's was not and an investigation was being conducted. I can't find anything more recent than early June. Please also provide how you found the information - I'm questioning my internet search skills.

All the news is from immediately after the accident. From where the boat sailed, how deep the water was, who is running the company, his survivors, etc. I can't find anything on the investigation of the accident since a few days after the accident, early June.

Hi Curious,
The only info I could find was at www.boston.com. They stated in an article that Edouard Michelin was killed in a boating accident near Sein Island off western France's Atlantic coast. He had been aboard a fishing boat, "Le Liberte" that sank in still unexplained circumstances. The boat left the Brittany port of Audierne. He is survived by his wife and 6 children. He was 43.
Hope you find more information. Hope this helps.
Angie
