month they don't want it .This is driving me mad because for about a week in the month i can't get enough of my man and then for the rest of the month i feel numb sexually.I put it down to my hormones but would like to know if anyone has had the same problem.

i did for a while i think it was due to a mix of money moving stress and I'd just changed what contraception i used i think it's chemicals were playing havoc on me, i also had really low self esteem at the time. but because you are still getting all those hormones just pre-menstrual my body went mad for it. it'll pass. if not you could always go to a doctor to see if it's hormonal or therapy to see if it's psychological, although that never helps money worries...

I experience something similar but not as drastic as you do. Are you on birth control? Birth control has recently been shown to lower a females "horniness" sorry i dont know how else to put it but maybe at certain points in your cycle your natural hormones are stronger than the B.C. and you find that sexual drive... Hmm maybe I should have waited to see if you were even on birth control before getting so in depth.. lets find out....

i get like that just before i am about to start my period i cant get enough i think about it all day and cant wait for night time to come and in the middle of the month i am always too tired and cant be bothered i so love sex and i enjoy my partner he is a wonderfull lover but only when he feels like it so maybe that is why i have the weeks when i cant get enough maybe your partner is the same

Yes i do. It might sound strange but whilst im on my period i feel like sex but once im off my period i dont want to know. Its starting to bother me now. Im currently on the pill and wandering if thats why my sex drive has gone down the pan, lol. Im going down the doctors to get this checked out because like i said its becoming a problem. Yes but not to the extent you seem to suffer. I have a week where im like a dog on heat but then i can take it or leave it...but tend to take it, lets be honest here blokes have thier needs! Dont worry about it though, some people dont have ANY sex drive at all so at least we get rampent one week a month! xxx

about a week after the end of your period is when you ovulate. around this time women are generally ( i say Generally deliberatly) more aroused, natures way of continuing the specis.when we are not ovulating there is no natural need to expend so much energy on something biologically pointless and so a little help is required to get in the mood. you partner will have to work alot harder for his bit of fun! men are always ready for sex because they always have sperm available for fetilizing!

That happens to me , I am married and usually after my period ends it's when I feel more like doing it, but probably 2-3 weeks i just dont feel that I need to have sex, I don't have any problem with that but my husband do!!

I want it every first week of the month and every last week. For some reason? I think it is because we have paid all our bills and I am happy instead of cranky and moody. (I am cranky and moody during the middle of the month because of bills and stuff like that.)
