i don't really understand the question, it sounds like you have it pretty much taken care of by getting a divorce. If you really have no idea about the guy why did you marry him? It seem to me you would want to know a little more about the man you marry, next time don't get married until you know the man, his family and everything else about him.

My first thoughts is -- hire a Private Investigator. My second thought is -- talk to a lawyer. Both are expensive and, frankly, I don't trust either for giving you your money's worth.
I read some of the Answers above...
Perhaps you could start with the "girlfriend" that called you last Christmas. She may talk if she is no longer involved with your ex. Try to find out what counties he lived in and go through (or call the department of) Public Records.
You may also be able to get your local Police Department to run a check on him. This may cost only $5; they won't tell you anything unless he really has done something you should be concerned about. Explain your thoughts (that your husband may have been living double or triple lives...) and, hopefully, they will do sufficient searching.
Talk to the daughter. She sounds like she might be interested in helping. Pay close attention to the conversation for counties, etc., he may have lived in -- particularly, if she is not willing to help.
Also, if you can find any of his ex-wives, see if they are willing to talk. If what you believe is true, one of them (??) was married to him when he married you... maybe.
After you have sufficient evidence, talk to a lawyer (to explore your options). If, after collecting evidence, you still need facts, hire a PI. This will cut the costs of their employ to you.
I'll be back if I think of anything else that might help.

I am not sure as to the website, but you could also write to the courthouses in that state, it would mean spending money on it, but if you really want to know it would be worth it. All marriages are recorded in the county that he would have been married in.
it's worth a shot though.
