My dear Joey P
This is a mystery to me
Unless there are supernatural forces at work
The light bulbs will not unscrew themselves.

Gravity and heat. As you probably already know light bulbs get pretty hot. You probably know that heat makes things expand too, and when they cool down contract (shrink). With all of the growing and shrinking PLUS they are hanging upside down they can slowly work themselves out over a long enough period of time, especially if they are not screwed in tight enough in the first place.

If they do, it is probably due to vibration caused due to daily activities at home, and it is also quite possible that such bulbs may come unscrewed especially if there is an inhabited floor above them.

EITHER
there is vibration over time
OR
someone is doing it
OR
the light bulb wants to be replaced and is trying to help you.

Thermal expansion and contraction, perhaps? Maybe vibration of the building frame caused by traffic or pedestrians? Maybe they were never really screwed in that tightly to begin with, or maybe people were trying to steal them but were scared off when they heard you coming?

gravity pulls on them soooo hard that they spin round as they try and hit the floor. Of course this is very slow. This is the best I could come up with.
