I was told about a job that pays twice what I make now. I know that my boss is low on money. And told me I can go when ever I want. I pretty much do nothing at my job and can go home when ever I want. I am sure I will have to work hard at the other job. I also go to school fulltime this new job pays for school too. I am getting short on money. Tell me I should take it.

You have not indicated what the job position is... If it is something that will not compromise your values and allows time for schooling, then I would contact the business. Prepare yourself as if you were informed of the job by a stranger---have a pristine resume and accurate references handy, dress appropriately; walk in with a smile and a handshake. Also, ask your present emplyer if they will give you a good recommendation(perhaps in writing?)--that is always a plus, when you are seeking employment while being employed. After you are in the door and before the hiring personnel, be sure you understand what the job entails and carefully consider if you are up to the challenge. If they offer you the job, don't be afraid to tell them you need a little time to think about it(if you do).Do not wait more than 24 hours to give them your answer, also. I hope all goes well.

Get a Life Take The New JOB

Submit your resume for the job opening and see if you get an interview. It would be worth your time to at least talk to them and see what the job is, what the benefits are and whether or not it is a company you would want to work for. It's worth the exploration at least, who knows you may like it or you may not.

I feel your pain. But, I'm going to have to say that the new job would be the best choice. Sure, you'd have to work more, but it would pay for school. In the long run, it's your education that will be the most benefit to you.

sounds like you should go on the interview - you have nothing to lose. after the interview IF you are offered the position then you need to think about the pros and cons of both jobs.

good luck
