It means he is not really into having a relationship with only one person. The right thing for him to do is to be honest and tell her he doesn't want to be tied down. When you are young, you should be able to date different people as that is part of growing up. You should be asking this boy what it means.........he is the one that has a girlfriend, but wanting to date others. Ask him and hopefully you will receive an honest answer and go from there.

It could mean a number of things frist off it could be he like you yet wants to be a player and stay with is girlfriend. Are wants to make his girlfriend jelous by asking you out. Are it could be that his girlfriend wants to know what you'd do if her boyfriend did decide to ask you out. In which it would be trouble because you can be seena as a boyfriend stealer if you accept his offer while knowing he has a girlfriend which is deceitful and wrong on your part and you should not participate in in anyway.

If a boy asks you out when he already has a girlfriend then just say don't you have a girlfriend I won't go out with you and I don't date cheaters. The person who asked you out is probably dumb and might cheat on you one day.

well maybe he's going on a break with his girlfriend and they have and an agreement to date other people and know what it's like to date other people. who knows, u might change his perspective and turn out to be a better girlfriend than she is and he'll dump her ***.
