First...how long ago was it? and did you personally put her up for adoption? it can be done, if you put her up for adoption contact the adoption agency and they should let you fill out a thing telling all about you so if the child ever asks the info is there, and talk to a lawyer, alot of your success will depend on the childs age.

Get in touch with the lawyer that did the paper work.
Was it a open adoption? If not, it may be harder then and open one.
Also, you cant contact her until she is 18..

Think long and hard about it first, and be prepared to
answer alot of questions you may not be ready to answer,
or on the other hand be prepared for a door to be slammed in your face. Would you be able to add something to her life or is it to make yourself feel better?
Is there medical issues she needs to know? My husband
was given up for adoption as a child and he decided to find his birth family, there were alot of issues in the
situation but he did find them. Its like opening a can of
worms, you just never know. The bright side was he did find some medical issues he needed to know. my husband's advice for you on this is let her find you.

Give us her name or yours and maybe somebody can help you. I would gladly be that person but I can't. I feel sorry for you.
