Go to a local department store, Ex: Macy's, and go to any of the make up counters, and have them to a demo on you. They will tell you what you should use, or go to a Merle Norman store. Oh - how old are you? Don't wreck your skin if you are young, just make sure you apply a moisturizer daily.

Probably the best source is an actual person like a mom, aunt, grandma, or an older female cousin to instruct someone how to apply makeup.

Try this website (see below). On the left of the page, there is a menu of each type of makeup technique and it takes you to a page-by-page description of instructions on how to apply makeup. Hope this helps.

I am a make-up artist myself. One of my favorite people to look at is the make-up artist Bobbie Brown. She has been working with agencies for over twenty years. I would definitely recommend her to anybody. She'll tell you what to do.
