yes, i totally think sid killed nancy. probably out of a drug induced rage. he was all temper. no cares. maybe she bought some bum drugs that put sid over the edge. as far as soulmates go, only in hell....which im sure is where they currently reside.

Never saw Filth and the Fury, but I did see S&N. I don't know if he did or didn't kill her, and nobody will ever know for sure. If he did kill her, I believe it was an accident. I think he was just drugged out of his mind and didn't really know what was going on. But, if the real Nancy was anything like Chloe Webb, I don't blame Sid for killing her. She is the most annoying person on the planet. I cringe every time I watch that movie and she screams his name. As for the soulmates part, I personally don't really believe in that kind of ideallogical thinking. I think they were addicted to each other just like they were addicted to heroin. They couldn't be apart from each other, but I think that is more of an effect of the drugs. Nobody else wanted much to do with them, so they took solace in each other. It wasn't really love, they were just afraid to be alone. If one or the other hadn't been a junkie, they wouldn't have stayed together.
Their relationship was very similar to that of Jared Leto and Jennifer Connelly's characters in Requiem For A Dream.

I do think that Sid killed her. I think the drugs lead their relationship to the end. They both weren't clean when they met. I don't think they were soulmates especially because they were destructive to eachother from the start. You should read this book: And I Don't Want To Live This Life by Deborah Spungen. Her mother wrote a book about her life with Nancy. It is old but quite interesting.

I saw Sid and Nancy, and I guess she died the way the movie portrayed it. I never looked it up on my own, but he obviously didn't go to prison, I don't know. I'm not so sure that they were soulmates though, I just think they were lovers living off each other's addiction.

Unfortunately we will never know as Sid OD'ed shortly after Nancys death, and before he went to trial.there was a theory of another person being there.then there was the thought that they were wasted and played to rough. They were definitely both addicts and I dont believe in soulmates.

If you liked the movies you might want to read "And I Don't Want to Live This Life" by Deborah Spungen (Nancy's mom). I think Sid and Nancy were two lost souls who found each other.

Nancy Spungen IMO was an addict and just wanted the fame of being around a rock star. SId Vicious was out of his mind and just wanted someone around. Were they "soulmates?" Heroin can make you think alot of things. I think he really did stab her, but I'm not sure it was intentional.

yes, I think Sid killed Nancy; but not on purpose. They were both addicts, having a bad experience with some dirty dope and he re-acted violently. No they were not soul mates, she was just some junkie that turned into a junkie.....and then lived every day after that as junkies together.

Probably 'joined at the hip' because they were both addicts. But maybe they were in love too. They are the only ones who would truly know the whole story.
