I appreciate the people who say that Jesus is their personal hero, but what I am asking is who here on earth, now, has inspired your life, and why?

Mother Tersesa is my personal hero. She gave her entire live to helping people no one else wanted to help or cared about. She was a great world leader and philanthropist. It is because of her life that I became a nurse and someday hope to make a difference in just one person's life.

My "Personal Hero" is Jesus Christ. What hero is there who can be more powerful or Eternal than Jesus Christ? If your hero is any other than Him, I can guarantee that your "hero" will come to an end...will face his or her "last" day. Not so with my Hero...because He is from eternity past...exists yet today...and will be here Personally in eternity future. That (everyone), cannot be said by any other so-called "hero" anywhere in the existance of all the earth and heavens...which He created, by the way.

My personal hero is my father. He graduated from high school and has worked hard all his life to provide for our family (usually nights and weekends). Even with his hectic work schedule he found time to come to every one of my basketball games, even the ones that were hours away. He has taught me discipline, responsibility, loyalty, love, and how to put in a full day's work. Without his example and support I doubt I would be pursuing a second degree and would not wake up in the morning appreciating the liberties and opportunities this country affords me. Parents have the potential to change our world if they would just step up to the plate like my father and fulfill their duties as authoritative figures.

The people who have inspired me most are my own children.

They remind me of the resilience of human kind

They have taught me to love beyond all normal comprehension

They have the hope of the future in their hands

They are strong, wise for their years, and always try to do better

They are each so different from the other

They are the future

Does being on Earth in "spiritual form" count? Hope so, because it would be my mother; she shaped me(and believe me, I was tough to mold) into the person I've become today; Hopefully I'm passing down at least some of this to my 18year old son....yeah, I think he's getting it!

Warren Buffett. His rags to riches life showed me that you don't have to be an inventor to gain wealth. By simply investing in the stocks of solid companies with strong growth potential, anyone can build an empire.
