Usually they're very thin or underweight... However, sizes that small were "conjured" up by the fashion industry in order to market more mature fashions to teens and pre-teens. I did some sizing snooping on my own as a teenager and you'd be surprised what fashion houses do to make you look or feel fat, even if you're not... it's a sort of partnership they have with the fitness and cosmetics industry.. sick really... but they figure, if you start a fashion addiction at an earlier age, you can begin to rake in on profits like : allowances and summer or after school job incomes. I know my sister and I nevr shopped in the children or young adult section as teens. We were in middle school and she wore a size 0-1 all through high school... she was naturally petite and thin. But now she wears a 6-8... she started to lift weights and run, so now she's more muscular... Anyway, it's also possibel to wear those sizes at a later age, but it's hard to tell whose really healthy or sick these days... makeup and lies can hide almost anything...

I'm 16 and I'm a size 0. But, I'm all differernt sizes when it comes to different clothes. I'm about 5'5. I also wear 14/16 in children and I am not so thin. It depends on the type of clothes. I have shorts that are a size 5. People might hate on us and say we have aneroxia, but it doesn't bother me. I work out everyday, but it's not at a gym or anything. I don't really watch what I eat, but I tend to eat very, very healthy. And I drink more than 8 glasses of water a day, even if I have to force myself.

That depends on the size they are and style of jeans they wear. Doesn't mean they are anorexic as other people say. I know I'm sure as hell not anorexic and I have jeans that are size 0, 1, 3, even 5! It depends on the styles of jeans...They all have different ways of sizing them. In one style a 1 might fit me and in another it won't.

A woman who is 5' tall can easily be a size 0 and not be anorexic. 5' tall, 95-100 lbs...size 0 - 2

I am 21, and while I was in high school I asked myself this question before. The only answer I can come up with is the following...

1) They are totally infatuated with their own self image, and don't really care about their health, only what others think of them.

2) Their metabolism won't allow for any sort of weight gain (that is a healthy weight).

3) They diet, or exercise relentlessly, and don't care what others think of how they look.

4) Simply put... genetics.

they must be very, VERY, thin, then.... :) anorexia is possible, but i know that i'm pretty thin and i can out-eat my boyfriend any day. some people just got blessed with good genes, or high metabolism...or both. my friend in high school wore a zero, and occasionally she would have to buy a double zero! WTF??? she could only find that size at 5-7-9. (is that store still around?) anyway, she was tiny, to say the least! i'm a 3 and i was like her 'fat friend' at the bar! jk...

LOL you got me! you're right, 2 is already pretty little.
I hate to ask a question in here but its the only way I can get an answer for this.
Yahoo answers won't let me post any questions, I have enough points to and it keeps telling me to select a category, when I already selected a category. Is anyone else having this problem? or could it be my computer?
