he's such a ****.. I don't generally watch footie but this match has got me entranced.. why does everyone think he's so good if all he seems to do is just fall down for no god damned reason??

I'm more surprised about how irate Scolari was getting. Is he blind? I was appalled at the number of dives! The Portuguese were a disgrace in this semi-final - why weren't any yellow cards shown for diving??? The Italians may well win the World Cup but their crown as king of the divers has surely gone to Portugal ;o)

If you can get a foul called...you get a small rest for the team (allowing all your offensive players to set), and you might get a penalty kick or other great placement depending on where you got fouled. i.e. how France got the 1st goal of the Game. Now that foul was obvious, but many are not, because refs can be some distance away or not paying enough attention.

Ronoldo is known to take dives, u will notice that refs pay a little less attention to him because he is so well known for doing it

cause thats their only chance. the portugese have proven themselves to be cheaters this tournament, so why expect anything else. they dove and cheated against holland, then again against england, and now agqainst france. its what they do best.
