She's 11...If the doll phase is over then go on to other things that she likes to do, arts, or maybe some new kids movies, think about what the girl likes to do, ask her mom. Movie passes that come with popcorn, and a drink are good. New hair peices if she's more petite, and girly. Nail polishes. Kids rings, and necklases are good, but dont go to high in price, kids (no offence) tend to loose things quickley. If the girl is a little more of a tomboy then try a watergun,outside toys, a new game if she has a gamecube/x-box/playstation.

Many games or books are on display in Toys Are Us stores and other stores and have the age of the child on the box. Choose from something in her age category. If you buy from a reputable chain store, they will probably exchange the item if the child or her mother so desires.
