IP address is for - regarding two computers communicating with a router. And PLEASE in laymans terms so I can understand. I think my router won't read wireless box because of the IP address. How do I fix it when I don't know what it is? Thank you -- I don't have my "computer book for dummies" on hand.

Firstly, I don't think explaining an Internet Protocol (tells computers how to talk to one antother) Address is going to help. Please clarify what you trying to do with your router and 'wireless box'. IM me if you need to screechinweasel44
