These classic songs of the sea arent very easy to find on limewire! I was wondering if anyone knew a website or some other enthusiasts source?

Its hard to find these classic songs of the sea on lime wire... i wondered if somebody knew an enthusasts site or some other source?

I should point out that im not in search of non legal material ;-)

This site has words and the tune to many sea shanties.
You enjoy and don't let those fools put you off.

(The musician is a bit naff but it gives you an idea of the tune)

Try the Guttenberg project. Besides public domain books, they have lots of music, including early Edison Recording Company pieces.

You might also browse the Library of Congress site.
