I obvioulsly wanted England to win but Ronaldo did what he had to do. Leave him alone...he's hot!!!!!!!!! ;-p
No football players perfect, their gonna make mistakes and do what they can for their team. It's not like they don't get punished for the mistakes they make.
I only watch the world cup...i love it.
Do you think people take it too seriously?

I know, he was the given the responsibility to score for Portugal's fifth try at the penalty shoot-out (which basically decided the results of the match), so since he's just beginning what will possibly be a wonderful career in football/soccer, he was almost forced to try all he could to score.

No one cares when he scores! Thats not why he is disliked. He is disliked because any time someone comes within 10 yards of him he collapses in agony!
He dives at every opportunity. If he stayed on his feet he would be respected as a great football player. Now he is regarded as a cheat.
He should give up football and take up a career as an Olympic Diver. He would be great!

Ronaldo is a fantastic player but why does he have to cheat - did you watch the game against France?? Deliberately diving is not good in games like this. Why does he have to try. He knows now that he will not be welcome in England which is unreasonable but who wants someone like that on their side - I don't.

people aren't annoyed with him for scoring, they think he pressured the ref into sending rooney off (who happens to be his team-mate). just not a good person.
