Oh, this is so hard. Thank you for asking so I could actually think about it. I have been in a coma twice, should have died both times. I don't know why I'm still here. I am forced to believe I have a purpose here that I have not fulfilled. I wish to Hell I knew what it was. There is just no reason for me to be alive if God doesn't want it. So what can I do? I just live my life in my own pitiful way and hope that His plan will reveal itself to me sooner or later. I wish I could be more help. Sometimes you just have to hang on for the ride and hope for the best. Me and God love ya.

if there is a purpose to life than it would follow that there is something after this life...i am a Christian. the Bible tells us that we were created for the glory of God... and we are precious to Him...sin and rebellion separate us from Him and without the grace and forgiveness of God, there is no purpose for life. A life surrenderd to God has much purpose! To glorify our Creator, live for Him completely, and tell others about God's great gift of salvation that brings us back into a right relationship with Him even though we don't deserve it... and what comes after this life? Eternity in Heaven with the only One who will ever love you perfectly. That, to me, is an amazing and wonderful promise and gives me a whole freakin' ton of purpose!

The purpose of life is to be able to contribute in this world. There is a place for everyone and a reason for being here. When you figure out what that is, you know what your purpose is.

Everyone's purpose is the same, to LIVE! Where we choose to live is predominantly an environmental and family factors. How we choose to live is based on our personal preference, hopefully christian-based for most people. It is the WHY we live primarily describes our purpose in life and as unique as we are as humans, we all have a unique purpose and if you want to know yours, just take a look at your surroundings, family, friends, vehicles, co-workers, etc and then dig deep in your soul and your own unique purpose will be defined! well this is how i see it. I believe that we are here to learn lessons.....lessons like....forgiveness, value, love, foolishness of anger and resentment etc. Its all continous learning. Your body is like a vehicle that carries the soul. When the vehicle grows old or is damaged in a severe or even accidental way and no longer works the soul leaves it. We choose when we come back. It all depends if you have learned the lessons or not. If you have not learned the lessons then you return....if you have then you might return to help others with their learning. We know when the time is up and you will be able to accept your death. When you have time, when you have had the time to rest and re-energize your soul, you are allowed to choose your re-entry back back into physical state. The soul never dies.....only our bodies do. The soul is immortal and lives on forever. If you are still interested...there is an excellent book that explains alot better than i do. It really makes you think. Its called....MANY LIVES MANY MASTERS by BRIAN L. WEISS, M.D.

I fully agree with the answer no 25 from mr smiling4ever.According to Surah nr 1 Al Faatihah ,the objective of our life is to search and implement our right path, the path that is blessed by Allah Almighty, not the wrong path which is angry with our God.We should pray to our God and ask for help and guidance from our God Almighty. We should comply with God guidance written in the Holy Qur'an and Hadith. We should participate in making prosperous society in a peaceful condition. We should love and help each other and do not make some destructions in this earth. We spread out our salam or peace and smiling in this world.Among races which have been created by our God Almighty we should work together and contact each other in good purposes. We are not allowed to be enemy and made a war.We should forgive other wrong doings and we should ask for forgiveness if we made a wrong deed.
We should obey our government and pay taxes orderly. We should meet or pay our obligation in time and to be honest.
We should avoid the wrong deeds such as gambling, steal
ing, adultery, murdering, drinking alcoholic and drugs which will give harm to our health and our wealth Our family and our wealth are entrusted by our Allah Almighty the only one God.So we should protect it well. We should earn our living with the permitted ways by Allah and spend our income in the permitted manner by Allah Almighty. We should make our big and important decision by deliberation and consultation.

The purpose of THIS life was brought into existance as the battle-ground between good and evil. It is where (within us) that the battle between God our creator and Satan the Adversary is taking place. Within each of us exists both good and evil. In our flesh dwell the "old-sin-nature" and within our soul, dwells our spirit...where also dwells the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ, but ONLY if you have asked Him personally to come INTO your life, and indwell you. It is then that your spirit within your body is revived, and your spiritual eyes are then SUDDENLY OPENED by the indwellimg Holy Spirit. And this is a LITERAL truth and a LITERAL experience that you can only know and understand when you truly experience for yourself.

What is the purpose of death ? Think about that. Is that really the questions we ask ? Why we ultimately die ? Dust to dust. Some wise teacher said this : Meaningless. Life goes on. regardless till we reach heaven.
