Bingo! We have a winner...Monsieur Dyson, you've just succeeded where the entire Republican administration has hopelessly failed - you've found the answer to the question of how you win a war on Terror, previously thought to be a floating concept. Now it's simple - all we have to do is exterminate the entire high-school class of Mr Bush, and terror will be vanquished forever. Can we start with him, cos at least we know where he is?
Have a Nobel Prize. Oh go on then, take two, but don't eat them both before your dinner...

I started thinking about this when the new Canadian PM was elected. I don't think that he is any worse than the folks who came before. You can just tell that this guy was a pretty square teen. Actually, now I'm getting worried.
My age group IS the group that is running the country and starting to make the serious decisions about most things. The most scary part of this is that you don't have a parental aspect with your government to comfort you. You know what sort of a goob you can be. The wisdom of the elders has disappeared.

I can see it now........Karen sitting at the desk as the secretary of treasury asking, "So do I carry the 2?" Don secretary of the interior walking up to Rick who is speaker of the house saying, "Pull my finger!" Meanwhile, Beverly as Secretary of Education can't find her glasses and has emptied her backpack all over the floor in the hallway of the white house. Chris has been made Chief Justice of the Supreme Court only to be vastly disappointed that this court has no basketball goal. Finally we find Nathan as President. *shrugs* Seems fitting. He always did enjoy a good stogie with an intern. I'd say this isn't terror. Seems to fit right in with history. :)

Funny but true. Then maybe it isn't so funny when we look at what we have.

Why is it in this great country and I include ours as well, is it so very difficult to find a great leader, who truly works for the wellbeing of his people as well as creating world trust, etc.
I know they are out there and perhaps they are smarter than our highschool chums and have decided to stay out of politics for obvious reasons....
