You can go to the MAC website and they have little video clips showing you how to apply some of the looks.

MAC also has a book out that you can purchase from the store that shows you how to do all the different "MAC looks".

***All the different ways they do their makeup will be in the book because the employees have to wear a "MAC look" to work everyday. So all the looks you see them wearing will b e in the book.

***If you really want to get the looks they have then get the book for sure. Or you can get a consultation with an employee and they can show you as well.

Good luck!

Visit the MAC make up counter. If you are in Chicago I have a friend that is an excellent make up artist and she uses their products. $45.00- $50.00 depending on the look that you want will get you an in depth application class. Don't let the artist at the counter sell you a bunch of products that you don't need however. Remember that you can buy a make up kit in the store with cheaper brushes. Start by applying the light color on the lid (go just a little over the crease line with this color) Go back and shade with the darker color in the middle and a light high lighter in the arch area of the eye brow. Blend at the areas where your colors begin quite carefully. Start lighter because you can always add more. Believe it or not you will become a pro with practice. HAVE FUN!

Go get a makeup application at a department store counter. I believe MAC charges now, but if you don't want to pay for it, different counters sometimes run promotions that include free makeovers. Some salons also offer makeup lessons, for a price, of course! If you live near a Sephora store, you can get advice from a salesperson there as well.

You have to go to beauty school, and go through a training like a normal beautician would. Once you get your license as a make-up artist you can try applying with them, plus if you go to the MAC store you can ask the girls at the counter what the process is. MAC only hires licensed make-up artists.

Go into the store and ask for a demonstration! They'd be happy to show you!

Just be prepared to buy something - those girls work on commission - and its kind of rude not to buy something after they've helped you out so much.
