I was just wondering how many decent people are using the internet for good things. I am trying to spread The Gospel. Seems like the majority out there are trying to spread filth or ask about filth. Jesus loves you.

It doesn't bother me at all. I consider myself to be a decent person and I use the internet for good things. BUT and I think this is difficult for Christians to understand. You, meaning Christians cannot controll everything. The world is full of things that are not of Christ. That's their choice. Just like you choose to love Jesus someone else has chosen something else. The Bible is clear on this. You can spread the Gospel and I commend your for it but remember Bible is against Christians "slamming" the Word down people's throats. The internet isn't for Christians only. That's just the bottom line

Thank God for Free Speech. If you want to spread the Gospel, I recommend going door to door LIKE JESUS DID (WWJD) or do you actually WANT to do what Jesus did? Because this is Yahoo! Answers not a Minstry site. Christ told his followers to go out and to spred his "Good News of His Kingdom" not set on your fat *** and annoy people who are trying to just get through the day. Thanks and yes, I know He loves me, but thanks for saying so, have a great day! Good luck with your faith and belief : ) I really am not trying to tear you down, I just don't think this is the appropriate place to preach.

Hi,

Yes the internet does bother me in regards to the filth level. I won't let my teen daughter online unsupervised. I can't without worrying that she'd stumble on junk or find her way to it somehow. The filth seems to outnumber anything good. I wish that it could be monitored and cleaned up successfully somehow. Thanks for your question, and I wish you the best. God bless you.

Does it bother me?No.The Internet is a tool used for information and communication. It can be used for good or for evil. It's up to each person to decide which you use it for.
Think of it like a hammer. It can be used to build a house for a family or you can use it to kill someone.
For me it just reflects the wide range of people that are out there in the real world.I personally use it for communication, entertainment and my search for wisdom.I just ignore the bad stuff.

Just like TV or radio, we don't have to watch what's there. If we don't like something, just turn it off.

There are people who do not want to receive the gospel. So, are you trying to limit their choices so they will read about the gospel?

One man's filth is another man's gospel.

I agree...there is a lot of sick stuff on the internet, but I just try to avoid it. What I hate is on sights like this people have to corrupt it by being perverted or racist! If they want to talk that way they need to find another place to go!

People are trash, therefore sometimes the Internet reflects society.

Yeah, it bothers me, but.....
Like a lot of other things, the internet is a tool. It is not evil in and of itself.... just like money, guns, cars, etc. The evil is in how it is used.

I personally use it for entertainment (the only place I go for entertainment is this site), to check my bank account, shopping, paying bills, researching things....

Again, the evil-ness or goodness is in how it's used.
