oh dont worry about it, just make sure you have pads and tampons in your locker or bookbag all the time. put them in a 'special' makeup bag so they dont fall out and embarass you and you'll have them all the time just in case it comes early while your at school. then besides that, just wear dark bottoms when your on it just in case you have a leak so its less noticable. and forget about it, if its a mixed school there is proly 20 if not more girls on their period any given day. just make it a routine to go to the bathroom when there's less ppl romming the halls like during lunch or see if you can leave during your homeroom or studyhall. pick a bathroom less people go to. most boys arent even going to notice that your on ur period. every girl has one. and most teachers if you just say 'i have to go to the bathroom for girl reasons' they will let you go - this has worked for me with even the meaniest teachers. dont worry, youll be fine
i hope this helped!

Having your period is a natural bodily function that means that you are maturing physically. Going to a mixed school will prepare you for life, where you will find people of all types. There is nothing to be ashamed of as you are growing up. Most likely, other parts of your body are maturing, so you need to learn to have respect for yourself. Learn to ignore anyone that might want to tease you. You'll need to decide whether or not you want to share your body with others, because you could get pregnant.
The Bible tells about a young girl that is maturing physically and her older brothers have told her that she should be a 'wall' not 'a door'. For her to be 'a door' means that she opens herself to any and every boy that wants her body. In that case, her brothers said that they would lock her away. But, for her to be a 'wall' would mean that she would be respectful of herself, and her brothers would honor her with silver.
Song of Solomon 8:8-10
We have a book, "Questions Young People Ask, Answers That Work", that has counsel and information from young people that have matured living Bible counsel in their lives. Ask any of Jehovah's Witnesses that you meet, at home or at school, for a copy of this book. You can also go to the website listed below and they can send you a copy.

Not sure I understand? You'll be using a girls bathroom to change your tampon/pad so there will not be any boys around. Not sure how old you are. Do you carry a purse? I didn't when I first started (I was 9!) so it was awkward either putting pads in my pockets or starting to carry a purse-which is what I ended up doing. Come to find out the other girls were actually jealous that I started before the rest of them. LOL
Ask you mom..remember...she was a teenager, too!

Nobody has to know that you are on your period! Use tampons, pads these days are so thin and absorbent that you don't have to worry about leakage. They still have separate bathrooms for boys and girls in mixed schools so you don't have to worry about changing there.
