The pictures are currently in "my pictures" I assume.
Log onto your daughters account,
open "my pictures"
Select folder containing photos or individual photos.
right-click the mouse on them.
select copy from the menu that appears.
(If copying individual pictures first open My computer and then open C: drive.
Right click on empty space and select "new folder" from the menu.
open this folder.)
Open the c: drive from my computer.
open the folder you created for the files, skip if moving whole folder.
right click in empty space and select "paste" from the menu
Log off and log into your own account.
open C: drive from my computer.
Select the folder with the photos by right-clicking on it once.
select "cut" from the menu that appears.
open "my pictures"
Right-click in empty space.
select "paste" from the menu that appears.
The end.

For safety's sake, ask her to move a copy to the shared documents folder. With Windows XP that means have both folders open at the same time, hold down the Control key and drag. XP will move a copy. Or right click, select Copy, and paste.
The shared docs folder is in My Computer.
