With ANY medical procedure there are risks...Take a minute and review the good and bad. That way you will feel great about your decision.

Make sure this is what YOU want to do ( not your friends, not your boyfriend etc) .Its YOUR BODY not theirs!

Do your research , if you know any girls that have had it done, talk to them , this is a great time to ask questions... ask them what Doctor they went to and their outcome etc.. Most girls want to share their surgery experience with you, almost like a secret club if you will.

Get at least two consultations. Most Doctors offer FREE consultations, and this is another great opportunity to ask questions. How often do they need to be replaced etc....

This is your one and only body, don't base this surgical decision on price alone!!! Do it right and do it smart.

One friend of mine, she placed the sample implants ( on loan from the Plastic Surgeon ( the size she was considering 300cc) inside her bra and wore them for a few days to get an idea of the breast augmentation result. She said that really helped her make a decision on the right size implant for her.

Hope this helps!

Why?

Are you acting from some deep insecurity? Do you think you won't be "beautiful" or "attractive" if you don't have big boobs?

Or, are you attracted to the type of guy that's only attracted to girls with big boobs? Some guys are like that, most aren't. Just realize that if you go after the one, you totally disqualify yourself to the others.

Only legitimate reasons I can come up with for a boob job:
- professional requirement - eg topless dancer / porn star
- reconstructive surgery after an accident / mastectomy.

If you're dealing with self-image, read a copy of "Psycho-cybernetics" by Maxwell Maltz. It's really old, you'll probably find it in the used bookstore.

He was one of the first cosmetic surgeons, he talks about how surgery doesn't really change you, and what to do about it. He's basically the father of all the "self help" guru's out there, but his stuff has stood up over time and proven to work.

And hey - I bet you're beautiful already.

I would suggest you seriously research your choice in doctors, first. Ask around. This is going to sound strange, just to warn you. Women are particularly chatty about this subject. So what you can do is ask women you meet in everyday life. Everyone knows someone who's had this done. The women who have had the procedure will easily tell you about their experiences. Most will show them to you and ask if you want to touch them. I do suggest you know what they will feel like before you decide to get the surgery. How they feel once they're in depends largely on your muscle tone. I mean what it feels like having them, not touching them. Which I just realized is how this sounds. I am not suggesting that you feel up your friends. Examine the implants, there are different types and shapes. Also if you ask around it's fairly easy to find the best doctor. It hurts for a while but in the scheme of things not for too long. If you start experiencing strange symptoms you should go straight to your doctor, as occasionally women have allergic reactions to the materials used for implants. This is extremely rare, but it does happen.

After all the trouble I went through to get smaller, and considering how much better I felt afterwards, I cannot fathom why people would want to be bigger. The augmented breasts look so unnatural, and the back problems, let me tell you, the backaches are not worth having big breasts. Be happy with what God gave you.

I'm not a doctor but I'd make sure I do a lot of researdh on this one. There's a lot of horror stories involved. I don't know why anyone would go through this unless they absolutely had too, ( breast cancer ect.) Guys prefer the real thing anyway!

My advise is DONT!!

I just went to dinner with a woman who had agumentation 15 years ago. Her Breasts dont even look normal. the extra weight the muscles had to support just didnt do it and they sorta point down and to the sides.

God gave you what he gave you for a reason. If a guy doesnt appreciate you for you then its not worth foolin with him.

dont do it unless you're getting cancer removed from the breast. there are many complications that can occur, and there have been cases in which people have gotten very sick because of auto-immune responses. its not a good idea.
