The main reason is because when we see it happening, all we do is go on Y! Answers or some similar outlet and gripe about it.
Over the past 230 years, Americans have forgotten what kind of people fought for to bring this country into existence. When the British raised the tax on tea, the Bostonians didn't sit around and whine about the evil government or some such nonsense. They ransacked a ship, tossed all the tea into the bay, and set the ship on fire.
The US government is getting out of control. The problem is that noone is willing to fight, and kill people and probably get killed, so that Joe and Steve can get married. Or set the phone company on fire so they will stop listening to our phonecalls.
There is a line somewhere...I have to believe that there is a line that, if crossed, will make people stand up, take up arms, and fight. But how far will we let the government go before they cross that line?

We Need Rules But Every One Would Petition For Things They Want To Be On The Books Things Would be Much Better If We Aren't Careful We Will Have Laws On The Books That Outlaw Basic Things We Take For Granted

I wonder how long this crooked goverment would last, if we all just quit paying taxes? I am sick of it, just like you and millions of other people. I have no rights anymore. I live in a border state. They have rights, I don't. I can't even afford to go to a doctor. It's not right.
