It is called freedom. We give people the freedom to be poor. They are not forced in ghettos and retained there. Bill Cosby nailed it when he asked why African Americana's put a stigma on intelligence.
A dictator in office? He was elected in a crappy system just as JFK was. It will be over in two years.
The civil war was over unity NOT slavery.

I'm sorry but how did we put them in ghettos? Not to mention I think genocide and the opression of basic human rights is something that stronger nations should stick up for. We are not perfect by any means and never will be, but in comparison to some, we are further along in human rights issues. We still have progress to make but at least in the US it is possible to still make more progress. As far as the war over slavery, duh. That is exactly the point. It wasn't going to be tolerated and the right thing was finally done. I see that as a godo thing.

The confederate flag is a symbol of the Old South. To us, it stands for chivalry and roughin' it. I don't see a confederate flag and think about lynching anyone.

You are a moron. Who has been forced to live in the ghetto? We have the richest poor people in the world. Our "poor" have microwave ovens, DVD players, air conditioning, and cars. If you want to see what poor really is, try Africa. How have you personally been economically oppressed. Did the government force you to not learn anything in public school? Did the government force you to not go to college/tradeschool? Did the government cause you to lose you last job? Ohhhh....woe is you. Everybody is out to keep you down. Maybe if you spent as much time making yourself more valuable to society, as you spend blaming someone else for your failures you wouldn't be such a turd sniffer.
