when i was kid i was mad of that movie and wanted to know other opinions. and only now i can do it.

I loved the TV series. I even named my dog Buffy but she ran a way so we named the next one Willow. That show was so witty and clever. Too funny!

the movie was crap. However the series is a different kettle of fish. I would not know how to recomend it enough. It is the best thing ever on tv, and now on DVD i never tire of watching it. I would recommend it to anyone. And even though the first season is quite weak, as from the second season it really gets amazing. I am a big fan, and I'm 38 years old. Highly recomended.

i liked it because of the comedy and how it sort of began the buffy-verse...... joss says that he was interested in making a remake of it for a tv episode movie that will release on dvd kind of like "once more with feeling" but sarah did not want to make it (that made me dislike her a little because it sounded like a better plot and everything)
it would have been released at the same time season 6 was released on television and taking place in the episode "normal again" as a long movie sort of episode but due to the new network pick-up for season 6 (the series was supposed to end after season five) money was low sarah did not want in and a lot more finantial problems the projet was shot......... i was dissapointed also because instead of fighting lothos the vamp. king (similar to season 1) she fights certain tests sent by wolfram and hart because buffy began to kill off their clients and that made their L.A. firm to nearly loose buisness and their favorite thing, money.

Uh The show was awesome.. one of my favorite. But well the movie was stupid. I couldnt even watch the whole thing. EXTEMELY DISSAPOINTED! They should do a remake buffy movie with Sarah Michelle gellar and the scoobies! (xander willow dawn giles spike, I didnt know if you watched the show too?)

The original movie was great. Unfortunately that Sarah Michelle Geller chick has got to go. The creepiest thing about her is how she reminds me of people I dont like (her character in the show, that is. Not her personally. I guess.)

The tv show was very cleverly written and had great storytelling. In some ways it was a homage to some of the better horror literature written.

The movie was very good. The television show was absolute sh*t.
The movie was aimed at a more adult audience.
The TV show was aimed at impressionable schoolgirls.

I didn't like the film that much I thought the acting was crap but I really liked the t.v show I have all the dvds such a shame its finished :(
