I'm not just talking about nuclear weapons, I mean any time anything goes wrong our gov. decides we need to do something about it.We should just throw ourselves in there and take care of it for them.(that was me being sarcastic)

I am going to answer this one like this. OK go back in time to when we drooped a nuke on japan and then look at the devastation it cause that country. Now after doing that do you think that in the wrong hands a teariest would not set that **** off in our back yard think about life as u know it gone and your family and friends dead or horribly mutated from the blast and fall out winter. We talk to the UN before we go to war and the if I remember right before inspections can begin in any country or war now the UN has to vote on it as well. So we don't police we just sometimes act before we get all the facts. But on nuclear weapons yes i think every country has the right to tell another hey u cant have that.

Nothing ever gave us the right to be the world police.Nothing.

Why can't this country learn anything from our experience in VIetnam? You know why,because the good'ol boy network in this country is run by Nationalists.Nationalists will fight any war and pay any price to serve their government.Any price.If George Bush says "go"they go-no questions asked.

Even neocons admit there is no garauntee that democracy will work in foreign countries.It doesn't seem to have a very good track record.

Even Jane Fonda said once last year that America's history of choosing pro-war presidents and war itself is in attempt to look"manly".You can't feel very manly when your son comes home dead or dismembered in a war ignited by an oil entrepreneur
who is looking to enhance his own stock portfolio.

The entire "neocon approach" is the invention of Karl Rove looking to exhault Georg W.Bush,a man who entered politics to (1)Change the tax code to benefit the top 1% of Americans,(2) change the drilling laws to make iteasier to harvest oil,(3) gut the middle class to have more money to play the stock market,and (4)domesticate oil-rich countries to harvest more oil.

And all this under the false disguise of "moral values",to keep the working man duped and "anti-democrat".

Happy Independence Day.

who really won the wars? NO ONE because people lost lives and for what stupidity. I think that war is stupid. Is this what god put us on this earth for? Anyway, each country should just mind their own business and we should get our own oil and stuff like that and stop running the minute someone says boo. Yeah, we keep hearing stuff like there is another threat on our country and all that. Maybe there is and maybe there isn't. Is it just an act to make bush look good?!? Look how many warning before 9/11, if you look between the lines, he knew, they knew, nothing was done to save anything. Now we pay the price. We should stop taking from other countries and they should stop taking from us. Is the US that bad that we have to use their oil. That's the main problem, they can always use that to hurt us. I just think that stay in your own country and we stay in ours.

well, this depends if your point of views come from the left or the right. but mine will be from the right. I think cause we are the strongest and the most looked up county in the world, we can help other country's. We need to defend other country's that are in danger for them and to us. We are the ones that will stop evil and are strong en ought to do it. For example we helped Europe from Hitler, stop the nukes in Russia and etc. We have the right to help the world with problems.

I agree. An analogy that I never tire of using is this;
You can paint your house blue, and borrow blue paint from your neighbor. But, you can't go over and paint your neighbor's house blue without his consent, with the only justification being 'Blue is the best color. How could you not like blue?'

There's a new sheriff in town: Sheriff Bush and he's gonna smoke 'em out...those evil-doers....

Why does George Bush talk like ROBIN in the Batman TV series? "Holy evil-doer Batman"

If you don't have the sense to understand it, no amount of explaining is going to enlarge your capacity. I think you'd be best to just paint houses blue with your friend.
