True , while you have your period , the risk of pregnancy is much less than at others times but it still is not eliminated . There is about a 50/50 chance that you are or not pregnant . You should go see a OB/GYN immediatly . And , next time , do not go into penetrative or any type of sex without using a condom even if you have to tell the guy to stop a minute . Its your health and well being that matters . Take care and good luck !!

You can pregnant....ALWAYS use protection!
Below is from yahoo health. Don't listen to that coconut person!!!
Click here to find out when you are most likely to get pregnant.
This interactive tool estimates your peak fertility period, also known as your "fertile window." This is when you are most likely to become pregnant.
To find your peak fertility period, the tool calculates the day you are most likely to ovulate by using the date of your last menstrual period and the typical length of your menstrual cycle.
A woman is usually able to get pregnant for about 5 days each month, when ovulation occurs. On average, ovulation occurs 12 to 16 days before the menstrual period begins. The key to becoming pregnant is determining when ovulation will occur. Because sperm can live for 3 to 5 days in a woman's reproductive tract, it is possible to become pregnant if intercourse occurs several days before ovulation. This tool should not be used to prevent pregnancy.
Your menstrual cycle begins with the first day your period starts and ends the day before your next period starts. If you do not know the number of days in your menstrual cycle, use 28 days, which is the average length of a menstrual cycle. If you want to determine the length of your cycle, use a calendar to track it. Some women have longer or shorter cycles.
While women usually ovulate at day 15, it's also normal to ovulate well before or after the 15-day mark. This calculator is therefore meant to give you a rough estimate.

As unlikely as it may seem you can indeed get pregnant while on your period. However a lot of things have to do with it like, are you regular? If you are I wouldn't even worry about it, but are you irregular? if you are you might be, it all depends on when you ovulated or are about to. If you are irregular you might have ovulated right before your period or right after your period, remember the sperm lives inside of you for a while so if you are about to ovulate you can get pregnant. Now, I wouldn't worry about it right now, because if you are not you will make yourself not to have a period next month, just relax and give it time. If you are indeed pregnant noone asked you to go to bed with this other guy so you will have to pay for your actions but Hopefully you are not because it would be really sad to bring a baby to a world where not even his parents wanted him. So Good luck.

It's true you can get pregnant even if you are on your periods. You can also pick up good pregnancy tests thesedays that can tell if you are pregnant a couple of days after you've had sex. Don't worry about it too much... chances are it won't happen, but if you are worried go and buy a test.
sorry I don't have any textbook information or any statistics, I'm just telling you what I know.

Probably you ARE NOT but wait 10 days and take a test to ease your fears.
Yes you can get pregnant on your period if you ovulate at a different time than most women. BUT IT IS RARE.
Be more careful and never have sex without a condom. Get the variety pack so you are prepared for any scenario.

No, don't worry, it is not as common as it is talked about on here. A woman can only get pregnant when she's ovulating, which can happen anywhere between day 8 and day 23, then about 12-16 days later, you get your period. If you had/are having a "normal" (normal for you, that is) period, then you are not pregnant. I wouldn't worry about it at all.

Getting pregnant on your period is rare. Can happen but rare. Best thing to do is just wait and see. If you notice your breast are sore, you begin to feel groggy or extra tired, you feel sick to your stomach. Then you could be pregnant. Like I said its rare and doesn't happen very often, less than 10%, but next time keep a regular condomn handy if you start to get caught up in the moment at least you have something to protect you. Good luck!

Technically the window is open from the day you end your period 7-14 days out. That is when the ovulation begins and the eggs get easily fertilized. Position has nothing to do fertilizaton only an open window for it to happen. Good luck!

While pregnancy can occur durning your period it's not very likely.
[quote]During periods, the chances of pregnancy are comparatively lower at the onset of a woman's period and increase just after her periods. The truth is that there is no predictable time during the month when the risk of pregnancy can be said to be absent.

You can get pregnant any time of the month. It's just more likely at some times than it is at other times. I'm not 100% sure, but I think during ur period is one of the more fertile times.
