I'll be on your side as well, give me Liriano.

Liriano is 9-1, with 1 save, and a 1.99 ERA, WHIP is 0.97

Verlander is 10-4 with a 3.01 ERA, WHIP is 1.17

For all-star and everything else, its Liriano. Verlander has nasty wicked stuff, including the heavy heat (which, by the way, everyone in Detroit is WAY too obsessed with), but Liriano is Santana Part II. Everything about those guys is the same if you compare them side-by-side, and I love to watch great pitching. A powerful one-two punch (and both left-handed? should be a crime!) for years to come.

Verlander may be on a first place team right now, but Liriano is headed for a fantastic career with lots of hardware in his future!

Liriano is the better player (and way ahead on the voting), but I voted for Verlander because the Tigers have been the best team in the first half and they deserve another player on the All Star team.

Liriano, simple at that. Personally, I think the Tigers will tank in the second half of the season.

Verlander definitely...stats are important, but the fact is Verlander is looking at the playoffs and Liriano can watch from home...sorry

If your question pertains to the last all star spot its Travis Hafner who was cheated last year so he can not be denied this year.

Justin Verlander.

Of course he has been clocked at 103.

Of course I am obsessed with that fact BECAUSE IT'S TRUE!
