I'm an American. First I'd cut the corporate mockery of democracy. Then, return the nation to expressing the successful principles America was founded on.

We would be Individually learning to comply with the "Laws of Nature and of Nature's God", developing "self-evident" truths and securing the "unalienable Rights" of the people, as mandated by the American Declaration of Independence.

Learning to abide by and express these Laws/Rights requires no force, no counter-force, no victims and no human-sacrifice. These principles entitle humankind to understand the purpose and direction of their lives, both individually and globally.

I would try to work toward the point where being the president of the country is at about the same level of being a cook, or an accountant or a pizza delivery guy. Just a guy working his best for his customers.
