I have a Bose 321 system and whenever we pop in a Disney DVD the subtitles are automatically on. No other brand of DVD does this. Anyone else have a similer problem?

I have 3 DVD players and only my sons has the subtitles automatically come up. Unfortunately you are just going to have to manually take them off. For kids that are learning to read subtitles can be a useful tool.

Well I have about 5 disney DVDs and they all play fine in my DVD player, the subtitles aren't automatically on. I do know though some DVD players have a subtitles button on them and you need to switch that to off if there is one. Some DVD players are better than others. Try when the DVD is in try to click on subtitles and make sure that they are off. There has been times when I would buy a dvd and pop it in and I would have to turn the subtitles off.

Hi i don't have problems with disney dvd's in my dvd player. some thing must be wrong with your misgain. u should ask who ever u got the misgain what u should do about it. that would help a lot.

I THINK THATS HOW THEY COME SOME DVDS HAVE SUB TITLES ON FROM THE START AND YOU HAVE TO TURN THEM OFF
