Should I Buy A PSP?

Question

I am really intrested in buying the sony PSP. For owners and people who have used the portable gaming device could you please tell me pros and cons about it.

I am going to include the 1 gig memorty stick w/ it

i am also saving for a ps3, or 360 aswell.. but i am getting this as somthin extra cuz its portable

PRO'S-

I think that you should get one cause the graphics kick *** for a handheld system and also they have sites on the internet where you can update and things like that also you CAN DOWNLOAD MUSIC! which was intirely a big help for me cause it was sort of like a 2 for one deal i mean playing games and music what else could you need also they got movies and such for you to watch so right there is another add on as well as demos for upcomming games that really truely kick a$$ on it's own so yesh what i am saying is that with enough memory you can have music movie games and thats great seeing as how most sytems you can have one or another with this one you get it all (EVEN THE INTERNET that is with a wireless router) but i degress the point is that it is one of my favorites and i think you will enjoy it too.

CON'S- the only bad thing is that you need to update your system every once in a while which means it will take up memory to download it so i suggest that you try a bigger memory card stick... that is if you wish to get the extra perks that i mentioned above ^_^

I have a PSP, and it really dependson whether youlike the Sony consoles and other things. My friend also owns a psp and says he prefers the Nintendo DS but I prefer the psp. To make the most of a psp you need to buy a big memory stick, ideally 1gb. It is good as a multimedia device with the ability to play music video and play games. But without a big memory stick it is difficult to experience this. Game choice is good but again depends on your personal opinion. Oh and BTW Battery life is good but could be better

I guess it depends on what other platforms you have available.

I own a PSP and it just sits in a drawer. When I first purchased it I was really excited, downloaded all sorts of applications to watch videos, listen to music etc. I bought a bunch of UMD movies and used it for the metro commute. But that got old fast.

I havent found enough games to keep my interest nor enough people in the area that own one so I can play multiplayer.

I recommend you put it off til prices come down or borrow one if you can from a friend for a couple of weeks.

PSP is far better than any of its competition, it has better graphics, more media compatibility, it's faster and more powerful... I have the theory that it was made by God! (just kidding)

But seriously, it's great, just mind to check out the games available for it, it'll be a shame buying it without liking its games.

my advice for you is no,because PS3 is coming out soon so you can save up to buy the PS3 which is much better and will cost around 900 hundred dollars

if you really like to ps2 and travel a lot then it is worth it. you can down load movie and music it to it. buy the 4g back up battery and get game fly because you can rent the game till you want to buy them and the movies too. i find mine to be worth it if you use it to the possible it can be use for.
