I don't have that many friends and I need to feel like I belong to something. I've tried sports but my asthma gets in the way, I tried chess but there's not enough human interaction, I tried church but people kept wanting to hug me. I keep seeing these news stories and these gang members look cool.
Will any gangs accept a 12 year old? Does anyone know?

Your asthma might get in the way when you get jumped into the gang - you might suffocate to death or something. Plus, if your in a gang - you will probably have to do some serious running at some point: running from the cops, other gangs, shootings, robberies, etc - so if you have asthma you might not be cut out for a gang.
Why not just talk to your mom about taking you to a doctor to get you on some good asthma medication, that way you can play sports instead.

Try attending many of the "Gang Fairs" held in your area. This is a way that your local gangs can reach out to the community and explain what their gangs have to offer, in terms of Health Plans and other benefits. This will allow you to chose the gang that best fits your schedule and whose gang colors match best with your coloring and style. It's important to do some comparison shopping, and not just join the first gang you find!

Well..let start by considering your "cool" factor...in order to be an outstanding hooligan you have to be about a 10 1/2 on the "cool" scale. You are going to have to prove your coolness first to your future "family". I would first start by selling crack on your neighborhood corner. When you start making a profit, next you will need to purchase a gun. After you get the gun, go down to your local convenience store and rob it. If they dont give you the money right away, shoot their as$es! This will show the gangs how cool you are. When they find this out, they are sure to accept you. Just be ready to get the hell beat out of you, this will show how strong you are. Once you are in, you will be in for life! Your fellow murderers and rapist will be the best friends you could ever wish for. Good luck my friend.

Well first you need a permission slip from your parents. Then you need to get a visa so that you can move to Northern Mexico (aka South Central LA). Then just drive around at shoot somebody, and before you know it you're a gang member. I'm sure you will make some lonely man very happy in prison.

I'm not in a gang, so I would not know if they allow twelve year olds or not. And if you are twelve years old, OMG, what are you thinking! Get involved in school. Try out for a school play, get into drama. The cast and crew are ppl you can build lasting friendships with. Dont' be stupid and join a gang.

Hunny, you dont want to join a gang. If you did you will more than likely be dead before reaching age 20. Gang members are not "cool" they are lowlifes who do not value their life or the lives of other people.

There is no true friendship in gangs. you'll be living a life of crime and not have any future..
socialize with the friends that you do have and meet their friends be active, join a debate team, the yearbook club. be the school journalist, take pictures for the school newpaper or yearbook
there is plenty of things you cna do to make friends you have to put the effort into, they are not going to come looking for you yo have to go out and look for them..
trust me being in a gang is a bad idea no matter how great they make it look. you'll have to committ a crime like stealing jsut to buy something to eat... gangs are bad idea

First, find the lowliest scum living in your hometown and monitor them for a while. Change your demeanor, attitude, dress, and vocabulary(watch BET and Listen to Gangsta Rap) to look and act just like them. Then take some money from your mothers purse or dads wallet drop out of school and head down to the corner and ask to buy some hard from your neighborhood scum. After hanging with them for a minute they may ask you to do them a favor, IE hang on to this package, this burner, or to simply off a stranger. Once you do this you'll build their trust in you, after wards they'll want to jump you in, which is very cool. All the senior members of the gang simultaneously kick the **** out of you while pissing and defecating all over your bloody face, don't worry they really like you, it's just tradition. After which you will get involved in a series of shootings, gang bangs, rapes, and drug deals that just like in that popular rap song you like, will ultimately lead to you being locked up or killed. Whatever you do don't join a gang no matter how cool they look they aren't!!! you should try theatre arts...bcuz once you are in a gang you never get out and maybe you might get shot on purpose by your "friends" in the gang!!!!

Not all churches will try to hug you. . . and there are a few sports where athma won't get in the way. I think.
