why must people feel they must use violence to get their point across?

Sadly it works. You mentioned Germany that again sadly was solved by war, not 1 but 2 times and the 2 was be cause sadly not enough of those who needed to die were killed.Some people no matter how bad you would like to reason with are not able or will not listen to reason.With Hitler what choice did we have ,send him an FTD love bouqet?Sing Kumbiya?I know a sit in.That is what people like him and KIM JONG IL want.I really think that we have to accept the sad fact that there are twisted people who take or achieve power,and left unchecked will rampage as long as they are able.Why do they do these thingsCause they can, unless we are willing to go as far as they do why should they stop,dont quote morality as it means nothin to people like them.Only force matters .That is a sad truth but still true today.

Do not libellously accuse people of using violent methods as a method of communication, nor as being motivated by subjective 'feeling' as opposed to objective decision, and certainly do not phase your libel in the convincing manner of a question based upon false assumptions. I might very well sue you for libel, or at least someone should. Anyway, I have reported your libel to Yahoo. Hopefully they will pass it on to the police.
